Rivano Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 27, 2026. Rivano is a style-sharing app that includes a community feed, user profiles, direct messages, wallet-supported credits, AI Preview generation, and image saving. This Privacy Policy explains how Rivano collects, uses, shares, stores, and retains information in connection with those features.

Your privacy choices

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data associated with Rivano by contacting support@rivano.com. You may also manage certain settings directly in the app, including account removal and AI Preview consent preferences.

Account, profile, and community information

Rivano processes the account and profile information you choose to provide, including items such as nickname, bio, avatar, posts, favorites, direct messages, and moderation actions such as reports or blocks. This information is used to operate the account experience, display community content, support direct interaction between users, and maintain service integrity.

Purchases and credits

When you purchase credit packs in Rivano, payment processing is handled through the platform purchase system. Rivano may process purchase status, transaction-related identifiers, and credit balance information so that wallet and supported purchase-backed features can function. Rivano does not store full payment card details.

AI Preview, selected photos, and consent

When you choose AI Preview, Rivano presents a consent prompt before any selected photo is sent for cloud processing. AI Preview will not run unless you agree. The selected photo may include visible facial features, body pose, clothing, background, and other information present in the image. Rivano also processes the selected shoe reference image and the generated preview result. This information is used only to generate the requested preview, present the result inside the app, and let you save the result if you choose to do so. Rivano does not use this information for face recognition, identity verification, or biometric profiling.

To complete AI Preview, Rivano sends the selected user photo and selected shoe reference image to Alibaba Cloud DashScope (Model Studio), using the qwen-image-2.0-pro model to generate the requested preview result. Rivano shares this information only to deliver the requested preview and related transport or service-security functions. Rivano does not sell face data.

Local device storage and app state

Rivano may store certain account state, profile changes, post information, favorites, message history, permission-related preferences, and AI Preview consent settings locally on your device so that the app can function as intended across sessions.

AI Preview storage and retention

Rivano does not store the selected source photo on its own servers for this feature. Selected source images are sent only for the active preview request. Provider task data and returned image links may remain available for up to 24 hours as part of the provider processing flow. Generated preview results may be cached temporarily in local app storage only for active review and are deleted when you leave the preview screen unless you save the result to Photos. If you choose to save a result, that saved copy remains in your device photo library until you delete it. AI Preview consent preferences remain on the device until changed in the app or until the app is removed.

Camera, photo library, and saved images

Rivano requests camera access only when you choose to capture a photo for a post, profile image, chat image, or other user-initiated media action. Rivano requests photo-library access only when you choose to import an image for a post, profile update, chat, or AI Preview. Rivano requests add-to-library access only when you choose to save a generated preview or other image output back to Photos.

Microphone access

Rivano may include embedded web content or support-related features that request microphone access if voice or audio input is needed for the active session. If microphone access is requested, it is used only for the specific user-initiated function that requires audio input.

Analytics and tracking permission

If you allow tracking, Rivano may process installation attribution, campaign measurement, and app-performance data to understand service performance and effectiveness. Tracking permission is optional and is not required to use Rivano's core community or AI Preview features.

Information Rivano may collect

Account and profile details you provide, such as nickname, avatar, and bio.
User content such as posts, saved favorites, direct messages, reports, and blocks.
Transaction, credit, and wallet-related status associated with in-app purchase flows.
Selected images for AI Preview, which may include visible facial features, body pose, clothing, background, and other information present in the selected image, plus the selected shoe image and preview result.
Permission responses, consent settings, and diagnostic information relevant to app functionality and issue handling.

How Rivano uses information

To provide the feed, profile, publishing, messaging, wallet, and AI Preview features.
To process purchases, display credit balances, and support purchase-backed actions.
To let users upload, review, save, report, block, and otherwise manage content inside the app.
To store settings and maintain app state across later sessions on the device.
To detect, investigate, and respond to misuse, errors, or service issues.

Retention

Account, profile, and community information may be retained while needed to operate the service, comply with law, handle disputes, or enforce terms.
Locally stored app data remains on the device until removed by the user, cleared through account removal or app deletion, or otherwise replaced during normal app use.
AI Preview source images are used only for the active request and are not kept by Rivano as a separate server-side source-image library.
Provider task data and returned AI Preview image links may remain available for up to 24 hours as part of the provider processing flow.
Generated AI Preview results are retained only for the active preview flow and are deleted when the user leaves the preview screen unless the user chooses to save them to Photos.
Purchase-related records may be retained as needed for accounting, dispute handling, fraud prevention, or applicable legal obligations.

Third-party services

Rivano uses third-party services where needed to operate core functionality, including Apple platform purchase services for in-app purchases and Alibaba Cloud DashScope (Model Studio), using qwen-image-2.0-pro, for AI Preview generation. Additional platform or infrastructure providers may support service delivery, networking, or embedded web content where applicable.

Children's privacy

Rivano is not directed to children under 13, and the service is not intended for users who are prohibited by applicable law from providing personal information without appropriate permission.

Changes to this policy

Rivano may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal, or product changes. Updated versions will be posted through the applicable policy surface.
